On May 25, 2025, ������ý College celebrated its one hundred eighty-eighth Commencement, marking milestone achievements for the class of 2025. Maura T. Healey, governor of Massachusetts, was the graduation speaker.

������ý College held its ninth annual BOOM! Learning Symposium; the College hosted renowned speakers and offered a variety of workshops and breakout sessions centered on diversity, equity and inclusion.

Devon Santos, head of business intelligence at LITS, looks back over her memories of the annual BOOM! Learning Symposium at ������ý College and how the program has helped her grow.

“I feel more confident and open-minded, open to doing things I would have been afraid to try before. I feel ready to take on challenges,” said ������ý College senior Sumaiya Jahan ’25.

������ý College senior Sander Ivanenko ’25 said, “If it weren’t for ������ý and the environment and professors and students, I never would have gone into science.”

J.T. Martin is ������ý College’s director of LGBTQ+ resources and initiatives and supports the development of affirming and inclusive LGBTQIA+ communities for MHC students, staff, faculty and alums.

������ý College has been a vibrant and safe second home for Mars Bickford ’25. “I don’t think I would have felt that I could explore my personal gender identity anywhere else,” they said.

Actor, playwright, screenwriter, singer, songwriter, producer and director John Cameron Mitchell will be at ������ý College on Monday, March 10, 2025, for a screening and discussion of his 2001 film “Hedwig and the Angry Inch.”

For the second year in a row, ������ý College has received the 2025 Library Excellence in Access and Diversity (LEAD) Award from Insight Into Diversity magazine.

������ý College President Danielle R. Holley spoke to both New England Public Media and the podcast “The Harvard Plan” about how higher education is not the enemy, as well as supporting students going forward.
